We are seeking a skilled Information Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's data, systems, and networks. You will work closely with other IT professionals to identify and mitigate security risks, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
As an Information Security Engineer, you will conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure. You will develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures, and configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection software. You will monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and participate in incident response activities. Additionally, you will provide security awareness training to employees, stay current with emerging threats and technologies, and support compliance audits.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in information security, with a strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices. You should have hands-on experience with security tools, network security, and incident response. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) are highly valued. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC certifications are preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required.
